Sen. Hillary Clinton’s campaign owes $7,584 to a catering outfit called An Affair to Remember in Austin, Texas. The campaign of Sen. Sam Brownback, a staunch proponent of abstinence before marriage, paid more than $900 for lodging at “The Cloister” in Sea Island, Ga.
Accusations of flip-flopping on issues didn’t stop former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s campaign from shelling out $405,000 to Mindshift Technologies for computer support. Romney, a Mormon who neither smokes nor drinks, also spent $718 at the Court Ave. Brewery in Des Moines, Iowa. Arizona Sen. John McCain ’s campaign hired consultants Dark Horse Communications.
